Archery King

A strong archer is not made only by arrows with tremendous damage. In Archery King, your strength is determined by how you spend gold, choose improvements and stockpile resources for upcoming battles. This 2D RPG has incremental gameplay, allowing players to engage in an endless monster hunt where the win is the aim and the tool for character growth.

Archery King: Every Fight Opens a New Development Path

In Archery King, the monsters walk toward you, and your primary mission is to aim and shoot using your mouse to stop them from reaching you. Defeat enemies and upgrade your strength with your gold and materials. This loop brings in the repeated question during the game, where should you put your investment so that the next battles become more efficient?

Increasing the damage is great for destroying targets quickly, but the speed of fire is useful if you need to kill lots of adversaries in quick succession. Multi-shot adds arrows to each shot Piercing allows the arrows to go through the target and attack from behind. But you can combine these talents to make a good fighting style rather than upgrade them one by one.

There’s More Than One Way to Make an Archer

Archery King has five archer classes starting with Archer and more specialized professions. Each class has unique combat skills, leading to greater character development choices as complexity rises.

Besides class selection, the Mastery system helps to increase basic stats. Prime and Awaken mechanics greatly increase the growth process in the latter stages. This means that character development is not just a few damage boosts, but rather a process of modifying power across numerous upgrade classes.

When Pickaxes Are as Important as Bows & Arrows

To create good gear you need more gold (than from monsters). Mining gives you coal, iron, gold and gems to construct and upgrade with. Buying pickaxes helps you gather materials more efficiently, and equipment and magic runes give you more options to boost your power.

You can even get companions like wolves and bears. They assist in combat by dealing damage or enhancing survival, giving archers the upper hand against strong waves of enemies.

How to Move Forward

Tips for Better Progression

  • Firing speed first: This is useful if the number of creatures increases quickly.
  • Combine Multi-shot with Piercing: Use the ability to attack several targets.
  • Invest in mining: Upgrade pickaxes when materials bottleneck.
  • Balanced development: Mix and match Mastery, equipment and partners, not just damage.

You aim with the mouse and shoot arrows or choose skills or menus using the left mouse button. Archery King is for people who like to see their character clearly improve and discover a way to make each battle an advantage for the following stage.
