A single keystroke can completely change the outcome of a somersault. In Flip Physics, you control an athlete swinging on a bar, launching into the air, and performing spins in their own unique way. The game uses ragdoll physics, making movement dependent on inertia, posture, and timing of the action, rather than automatically following a fixed sequence of animations.
What sets Flip Physics apart from typical somersault games is that you must actively control the entire process of performing the move. “You want to build up your swing enough before you leave the bar to get enough momentum. If you release before the motion is at the correct level, the character may not fly high enough, or have enough time to fill the spin.
The most crucial thing in the air is bodily adjustment. The Tuck pose helps the avatar to coil up and spin faster, while the Arch pose gives an arched posture. The layout and Pike also give more possibilities to change the body positions in the performance. These postures need to be synchronised based on the rotation direction and the current state of the character.
Completing a somersault doesn't mean you've finished the move. If you continue to spin when you're close to landing, the character may lose balance. Conversely, switching to a landing position too early will also prevent the performance from achieving the desired result.
The S key is a good way to hold in your landing position but timing is vital. After each attempt, check the movement to see if you need to change the speed of rotation, body orientation or time of the movement.
Once you’ve mastered the fundamental somersaults, you can attempt to catch the bar after you’ve launched yourself. This demands more accurate trajectory control, because the character needs to be in the right position to continue the sequence. If a catch is successful, this opens the door to more moves and more intricate combinations for experimentation.

The keys in Flip Physics are divided into specific functions.
You don't need to memorize everything at once. Start with relaxing, contracting and arching your body and then add in the twists. You can check the Key Bindings area of the game if you wish to change the key layout.
Flip Physics Failures Often Provide Clues to Incorrect Implementation Try to see what is causing the problem before altering one thing at a time instead than changing everything at once. Master your swing and posture and you'll have more opportunity to create smooth, accurate and distinctive acrobatic sequences.
