Fortress Clash demands a practical mindset: The best defense is offense.

Initially you will have a simple stronghold and will defend against constant onslaught. Your first job is to fortify the walls and construct defensive constructions. The funny thing is, though, you don't have to stay in the safe zone forever.

The strategic board will grow after resisting effectively. You will recruit soldiers, train them and arrange counter-offensives.

  • Don't be greedy for initial territory: Hold your base, focus on upgrading your troop-producing buildings to higher levels before thinking about invading enemy territory.
  • Smart resource allocation: Enemies come in many different races (Goblin, Undead, Orc...). Don't just use one type of unit. Flexibly change your formations like playing "Rock, Paper, Scissors".
  • Understanding the Waves: Fortress Clash has a fairly intelligent enemy AI system. Some waves will have "bosses" or heavily armored units, and you'll need to accumulate mana or skills to deal with them quickly.
